We got some more work needed doing So from now I wont give a release date

But will keep you informed on fixes

I tried animal forest, English version It don't work with beta version

But told yongzh about it He fix after the release.

Again apologies for miss informing you guys.

Catch ya later..

PS paper Mario on cm7 running 2.3.3 was perfectly fine
But better on 2.3.4

Oh man another delay, well.. :(

I don't mean to be rude, but how it can be perfectly fine with 2.3.3, and even better with 2.3.4?
So it runs fullspeed with 2.3.3 and with 2.3.4 it runs ....? :D

Yes papermario on 2.3.3 is perfect.
but I find on 2.3.4 honeyogen v1.2
all games run noticeable better.

I had first
Sense 2.1 froyo
2.2 build
That was slow

Them
Cm7 7.0.0
2.3.3 build
that was a bit faster

Now using
Honeyogen v1.2
2.3.4 build
And its a huge speed increase
over cm7 7.0.0
2.3.3 build
On all Rome

Catch ya later..

@crualfoxhound:

Maybe you could satisfy my curiosity: I think somehow that yongzh and zodttd share some developping tricks and technics (not to say more ^^ )

I remember n64iphone by zodttd used a kind of programming allowing fast results in terms of fps, but a disastrous compatibility, that had to be done almost game after game (but good games on N64 are not as many as on PS1 anyway), during months, all he had to show was Mario64 and marioKart. Then came Zelda months later, etc

Is it the same for N64oid? If yes, yongzh will have to decide to release one day, or it will take forever if he wants to fix every game reported as "non working" before the official release, if compatibility has to be done individually for each single game !

If his system is different from N64iphone, so with a supposed "possible compatibility for non-tested games", I understand he delayed the release to fix some extra things that could benefit for MORE THAN ONE GAME ONLY.

@ i900frenchaddict

I know zodttd got nothing to do with n64oid.
plus know nothing about his n64iphone emulator

Good question.
fixing all non working games before release.
Like you said it would take forever to fix.
But we only working on software and hardware
fixes. Compatibility and a cheat system will
Come after n64oid gets released.

At the present moment
we gonna add the 2 gfx cores
so users can choose between.

We are getting so near the release of the update.
We really can see the finished version sooner than later.

We thank everyone for your patients
for the long awaited update.

Catch ya later.

I think it would be advantageous to show evidence of the new patches or workarounds, by producing a video on youtube or something, screenshots with no spec detail dont show anything. Also Yonghz should not bother with sub par phones and state in his realese that this only works well on the tested models, anything under 900mhz is not worth testing because mostly a 1-GHZ phone can barely just play some heavily graphical games. I would say now dual core phones are making it then performance should improve drastically. - geting a Samsung Galaxy S2 soon yipee!!!

Just to note I have noticed a strange speedup when playing Zelda OOT on my HD2 Leo, for instance in the main menu the menu is massively slow but on Majoras mask menu its quite fast, could this be due to the emulator drawing things in the backbuffers that are not shown and just take up memory. Also in OOT when you press the up option button in the game to go into 1st person the speed dramatically improves. My guess is that volume clipping may be buggy and causing too much to be drawn at a time or overlapping textured polygons.
