 Re: [12/01/2010] FpseCE latest changes
Hello everyone. I just have received what is apparently the latest version of FPSECE, the donator version with multitouch. I cant seem to get multitouch to work for some reason in any of my games. I've tried deleting the cfg files and reinstalling fpsece completely. The latency seems to be fixed but I cant seem to to get multitouch to work. Is there anything I have to do or I'm missing?
Any help would be much appreciated.

neodoughnut, multi touch is working for me in the couple of games i tried. However, just to confirm, have you tried HD2=1 line in your ini file in PocketPC section ?

Hi Everyone, @Neodoughnut: I experience similar behavior. tested on rollcage2, acceleration (Static button X) + directions (onscreen button left or right) does not work at the same time for me. (HD2=1 is in the config , but I had the impression that is needed only for the zero latency) Though maybe I just misunderstood but static onscreen buttons should work, aren't they? (though Schtruck said something about the Digital pad ) Anyways I'll keep testing, and will see. I'll try it with GT2. I haven't checked but did anyone send a good config for GT2 in the fpsece.ini section? If not can anyone who has successfully multitouch tested it send me their own via mail? Thanks in advance.

Be sure the program HTC Album is well closed or Multitouch won't work.
What i'm going to do is to add a check when you start FpseCE on HD2, it will detect automatically if you run on HD2 and then if Album is closed, if not it will prompt a Windows asking you to Close manually this program.

You may have missed my post.
I just want to clarify if you are going to add onscreen button for change back to portrait. To help people having problems with the current way to return it.
Thanks.

Thanks. i will add soon two new features, regarding problems people encountered, first is the exit button which will be resizable to make it bigger for device that don't return Corners coordinates... By default it's size is 10 pixels... The Other change is regarding the inversion of Axis with HTC touch pro 2 and Gsensor... About HTC HD2, it's now automatically detected and HTCAlbum is closed automatically when FpseCE start... Now i have to release my work on Multitouch to support Sliding in multitouch mode... and then a new release will be sent to all Supporters.

if you can't get multitouch to work, be sure to use the 2nd pad type (the one with the sticks), map the left right buttons, but not on the stick, on the usual "cross". Put stylus mode OFF. Try both landscape modes. For Gran turismo, you must first use the sticks to navigate in the menus, and then use the regular left right (up down are not necessary in a race) during a race (go in the game options, you'll see that you can change the controlls, choose not to use the stick for direction, but left/right)
Thus you'll play the perfect reactive and multitouch Gran turismo 1 and 2, and for me, it(s a real dream, thanks Schtruck!!!
(I'll try to make a video tutorial specific for some games that are 100% seriously playable, including racing games, but as I'm just back home after 3 days at the hospital and some surgery, I just can't quit my bed before a few days)
