Hey Schtruck,
Everything new is great. Good job on the new features and improvements!
One thing I notice though is FPSE has these hickups. Meaning, the frame rate halts/drops every 10~20 seconds, for no apparent reason. I can just load into a game and not move, and every 10~20 sec the sound and image pops/stops for ~< a second. Is it RAM/garbage cleanup? Is it loading something? What is this?
Also, loading in assets seams to cause a hickup in emulation as well. Meaning, whenever you do move and some new asset needs to be loaded before displaying, the sound and video pops/stops till it has loaded in, it seams.
I'm still using my HTC ONE Max and it has been this way for several updates now. I keep my phone clean and close everything else when running FPSE. Also I don't even have phone service on it. I don't remember it always being this way, not even way back when I had an HTC EVO 4G.
So, what is it that is happening to cause emulation to come to a halt for other things to be done in the background, and/or loaded in?
Thanks bud,
Jay
