Suikoden II

Postby groovejet » Mon Sep 26, 2011 11:27 pm

I'm currently playing Suikoden II (PAL Version) on my Samsung Galaxy S2. My version of FPSE is 0.10.9 and the emulator is crashing when I'm returning to the Ryube village after recruiting Tsai and a FMV is played. After the movie is played the emulator is closed.

I'm having exactly the same problem. Is there anyway to skip the videos to prevent crashes?

I also have this problem, and I can't find a fix anywhere. Is there any way around it or a way to fix it?

I have exactly the same problem, have anyone found a fix for this? Been trying to looking our for a solution but found nothing.

Edit: The same thing that fixes cutscens for FF7 also seems to work for suikoden 2, atleast it did for me. Link to the thread that descriped how to do it in FF7 viewtopic.php?f=42&t=2838 (Thanks Fuego)

I downloaded suikoden 2 and unzipped it. I only got one file and it is a .bin file extension. My emulator didn't recognize the ISO. Did I do something wrong or what should I do to get it to work?

Had the same problem but I found the solution. Suikoden 2 (PAL version) image file is corrupted. I tried another suikoden 2 (NTSC) image file and that went perfectly well with the FMV after meeting Tsai. Too bad I did start all over again but worth it :)

Just a reminder that Fpse does not promote or support obtaining games through questionable methods.

Corrupt iso files (or bin files in this case) are a common cause of games not booting/working
