The ingame menu in Roadrash3D does not work anymore. It is activated by pressing the start button while playing the game. It pops up, but no option can be chosen, the navigation via the buttons on the xperia play is broken. I noticed that first in version .73 and its not gone in .74. It did work under .68 though, which I reverted back to.

an important fix has been done into the sound engine.

Sound emulation is highly improved, if anyone who complain with current sound would like to test this version, please ask by email to schtruck@gmail.com

Hi schtruck,

Since you're working on the sound emulation, in "Allied General" the Generals voice, who reads the briefing always skips and stutters.
It is no big issue at all for playing the game. What he says is written there anyway. Though, if it can get fixed, it might fix more serious probs in other games too.

Keep up the great work, I appreciate it.

Hello. So I just bought FPSE for android and I must say it's very impressive. Thanks for all the hard work, schtruck. That said, I have a question, since I'm new to android and the whole google play thing. I see you've just released a new version. Does the app update automatically or do I have to buy the new version all over again? Thank you! :)

EDIT: Nevermind. Just figured out how to update apps at the google play store. Thanks anyway. :)

It seems the new build is slower in fps performance than the previous one. I tried my pal copy of castelvania son and I noticed some fps drops . From 51-50 fps, now it is 49-47 and 50 when I stand still. It might be from the audio enhance but from 3 or more fps drops there is a sound skip. I guess I'll stay with a previous version. I always backup before I update emulators...

Ps:I still hope for advanced directory scan and a rescan function for my new games

Just a little feedback regarding the ingame menu issue in "Roadrash3D" and the sound stuttering in "Allied General".
(edited)
The ingame menu of Roadrash3D in fact does work in .75 again, contrary to what I posted earlier!

First it did not work after updating via the playstore, but everything was fine after deinstalling fpse completely and installing .75 from scratch. It might be a good idea to try that first, when a new version does not perform as expected.

The sound stuttering in the mission briefing of Allied General is still there, but it is completely irrelevant for playing the game. I only posted it as a potential method to test the compatibility of fpse in the sound department.
Maybe somebody with an actual psx console could test if the sound actually worked in the first place.

a very good news, i finally understood and fixed the sound part click sound problems... now it's very clear.

will prepare an update shortly

Update: i confirm after many many tests i can tell you that FPse for android has never had sound so clear !!

Tempo and sound is really perfect now. the bug was related to cdrom timing... will release the version 0.11.76 tomorow after more test.
