Postby Lannabulls » Sun Oct 28, 2012 5:51 am

asus transformer tf300tg
Jelly Bean 4.1.1
Sorry about my very beginner questions, no experience with games too!!!
I'm playing Crash Bandicoot, the 3 titles for PS1, wher the saved game file are stored? Game allow me to save game, obviously it dont allow to choose where to save it.
By a file manager i check my external sd card where bios and roms are stored, over there no saved game files, i look for them on the internal card to, i'm not able to find them, the files are there cause, everytime i start the game from the last saved file, can you tell me please where "FPse for android store" the saved files and if there is a way to tell the emulator a specific place where to save them,
thanks a lot!

Savestate and memory cards are stored in a hidden folder called .fpse in you internal sdcard by default. You will need a file manager/explorer like ES File Explorer on android to view the hidden folders. ;)

You can go to "MISC" settings in fpse to change savestate location and to select different memory card files....

8-)

Thanks a lot chutia,
in my ES file manager in setting i enable "hidden files",
finally i find folder named ".fpse"
inside i found 3 folders:
cheats
sstates
both folders are hempty

and
memcards
here i find 2 files called:
slot1.mcd
slot2.mcd

the game that i saved is crash bandiccot 2, saved as Luca as saved name so i dont think these above mentioned files
slot1.mcd
slot2.mcd
are my saved games.
Sorry about my silly question, no experience, can you explain to me please?

In my external sd card i made a folder named "saved games", i told FPSE in setting>misc" to use this folder to save games, lunch Crash bandicoot 2 play for i while make a new saved slot, nothing apperas in my sd external card in saved games folder,
what i do wrong?
Some help please!
Thanks

.mcd files are the ps1 memory cards. Your saves will be stored inside them

Thanks a lot chutia and foleyjo for your help.
I have just 3 games, Bandicoot PS1, all 3 roms are USA (america) so as bios i installed the USA bios "SCPH1001.BIN"
Except for not beeing able to save the game where i want everything else with this bios work fine, all games run smoody, everything perfect, no problem about sound too, all with the default setting, i did not change any setting, all are by default.

Thje only setting that i change I just hide onscreen controls cause i have the ps3 gamepad, about this subject i found a bug anyway this has nothing to do with this sobject, for the rest everything is fine except for save game, i'm not able to save them where i want.

I download bios "SCPH1001.BIN" from internet i did not rip by my self, i dont know even how to that, what does it mean rip bios? I extract from iso the bin file of the 3 above mentioned games, i did it by my self and that is all.

Thanks
