I'm about to upgrade to your ICS rom to see if it's any better.
Just backing up my apps at the moment.
Not happy about losing TVOUT though,

try to check if you are running some app consuming ressources. I have used Gingerbread Rom most of the time and never suffered that sound lag you suffer. ICS rom is pretty much the same except no TV-OUT.

Skel I just updated and am in the process of restoring all my apps.
I did test FPSE first though and I found the following

(Testing with bust a groove
-Better sound - Still a possible sound delay on 2D screens. Need to compare on my PSP first. This is on the bust a groove menu.
-Perfect response - Not sure if it's a fix with ICS but in bust a groove I am doing great and the buttons respond perfectly.
-Graphically better- It's smoother. In play and look.
-Sounds better - Sounds perfect. no stuttering or crackling.

This is either due to the fixes in the rom or something I was running previously that caused problems. I'll find out when I start installing things again.
As there has been no emulator update while I was updating it can only be a fault at my end with Rom or software used.
I'll test more when I get things up and running but so far I would recommend anyone who doesn't use TVout on a JXDs601 to update to Skeltons ICS roms

In addition
Skelton in the latest ICS download is O mapped to back?
If so it doesn't go back in FPSE anymore.
Also in FPSE I'm getting a problem now where if I go to the menu the game screen stops updating .

It is not by default, just installing this patch:

http://forum.openhandhelds.net/index.ph ... 157.0.html

However, putting circle as back doesn't work ok in FPSE in their last versions, since it shows the menu. I hope schtruck can make something to fix it (because it worked ok on previous versions of FPSE, until 0.11.29).

If you press menu the menu appears and game pauses, is that what you mean? I am not sure if it's normal or not, but it's ok for me if game pause.

no what I mean is when I go to menu it's fine but when I exit the menu the screen freezes but the game and sound continue.

I don't think it's emulator related. I'm having serious problems since updating rom. I'll continue this with a PM to you Skelton because with the problems I'm having I don't think it's FPSE

@foleyjo:
Same here but if i 'enable hardware acceleration' it's gone.
If it doesn't work for you turn the screen (portrait<>landscape) or press <home> button and restart FPse (previous instance will be resumed).

- internal sd-card (/sdcard) would be less confusing. On some roms /sdcard is even external sdcard.

- Please check 'Backup all files'. Seems broken on 37.

- Please add description text for sstates and memcards options showing actual paths.

- (Maybe obsolete due to 11.38): When going into 1001.bin bios memcard manager the memcards get corrupted for the whole session (quit=all fine again).

- When deleting memcards manually there seems to be no way to recreate them but reinstalling the app (or wiping the app data for fresh restart).

37 is performing quite nice indeed. 38 not tested yet. Good work!

thanks bluezeak but it appears my problem was unrelated. I had an internal memory issue. Now I've fixed that I don't get freezing.
Also after testing I found if I use GoLauncher as my home screen I get the sound lag, control lag and fps issues. So if anyone else uses this and has problems they should consider trying something else

I noticed the screen is zoomed in cutting off the edges of the games. Changing the screen size doesn't fix a thing.
Btw, you doing a great job with this emulator. Thanks for your hard work.
