Poor sound quality with Vagrant Story on Android?

Most games run amazingly well on both of my Android Devices (Moto Triumph and Moto Xoom). However, the sound on Vagrant Story is very bad. It's most evident in the footsteps of your character and NPCs. There's a strange electronic buzz with each step.

Has anyone found a setting to fix this? I've tried with SPU sync on and off and it doesn't seem to make a difference.

Actually, with SPU Sync off it's not quite as bad. The main characters footsteps don't have that buzz to them anymore. But other's do, like the armored knights you fight at the beginning. And when your character falls/jumps it has these sounds.

Not a major thing, I guess I could play without sound. Hopefully it get's fixed eventually. But I really can't complain. This emulator has made amazing progress over it's development.
