Check out this new n64 emu. Still in early stages but making improvements fast and the dev is really support friendly. https://market.android.com/details?id=p ... rch_resultLooks more than promising.

Promising, yes, but so far it's less compatible and less efficient than N64oid....

 Re: N64oid News
I wish more developers had interest in emulators, then they could possibly work together. It is open source. However I'm sure why N64 is not found interesting by people is because it must be very hard to emulate. It had many great games though.

 Re: N64oid News
Hi all. Long time no news.
N64oid updated to new 1.99.5 core results are good. Added a fadeout patch for tablets and phones running tablet mode. This mean the bottom software buttons ( bottom left ) and notification bar ( bottom right) Are now faded to a dots Resulting in better viewing:-) Also Xperia play pads now working.
Catch ya later

 Re: N64oid News
Hmm seems like chatter has ceased on this site a post caught my eye tho I started using n64oid today and tried running zelda: oot works great except if I try to use a shield (deku) character disapears and less than a second later the game freezes and i get kicked out to ROM select screen... Running 2.6.2 on my HTC EVO 3d also noticed this phone isn't even listed in specific hardware tweak postings...

 Re: N64oid News
I'd like to point out that n64oid still doesn't have support for native gamepads that was included in ICS. I would love to get my SIXAXIS analog sticks working with n64oid so that I can finally play Turok 2. What's the status of this?
EDIT: Sorry, I was wrong. Looks like native gamepad IS supported. The problem is that the right analog stick cannot be mapped to anything. Granted, the N64 does not have a right analog stick, but it would still be great if it could be mapped to the C buttons for games that use the C buttons for movement. For now, I'm using a workaround that involves using the left analog inputs on the right stick and using the D-Pad for the C buttons. That doesn't really leave me a D-Pad, but few games use that, anyway.
Also, please fix Donkey Kong 64. Thanks ^_^
