Firstly as a new member of this forum I'd like to say a huge thank you to the creator of FPse. Cannot describe the joy it has brought me. It is such a great piece of software.

Now for my question.

I have tried to run Soviet Strike on FPse on my Xperia Play. I have the most up to date version of Android and FPse. I note it is described as working in the forum although I think that list pre-dates the Xperia Play.

I have made images from the disc and compressed using pocket ISO. I have also downloaded a ROM from the net to try. Neither work, however both ROMS ran without issue on a PC based emulator.

For both games they load the EA logo and then freeze. I have played with the various settings in FPse and ran in HLE and BIOS mode.

Has anyone else managed to get either Soviet Strike or Nuclear Strike to run on their Xperia Play and if so how did you do it?

have you tried 'SPUSYNC on' into audio menu?

if that still freeze, i suggest one thing:

at ISO loader Press Menu button, then go to system menu and Backup all files

Now open text file /sdcard/fpsebackup/gamelist.ini, copy any block to end of file, and then change License like [SCES_003.45] to the license of your game, to know the license go to www.sonyindex.com, check the region of your game, and find the license.

into this new Block, change the line Flag0=x to Flag0=20

Save

Restart Fpse, at loader press menu and go to system to 'restore all files'

Press Back to go back to loader, and reload your game.

Tell me if it works.
