New version of FPse 0.10.37 available to the Market:

- Compatibility with Android 2.1 is back
- Many Fixes ( include config save, like bios etc..)
- Optimized Allocation Memory (more stable)
- New Cheat menu with 5 cheat lines,
syntax for cheats is: 80123456,ABCD
apply all by pressing one button.
- Added Backup/restore function (system menu),will let you change somes FPse internal settings and restore.
- Support for Xperia play's DPADs, if PS1 pad is set to Analog ,Xperia's DPAD will emulate Analog Sticks if onscreen DPADs are activated
(By default FPse map the DAP to all Digital buttons, except L2/R2, you can add them to the screen, you can remap DPAD too, FPse detect the first time a game is loaded and apply default config to XPlay DPAD)
About Analog PAD of Xperia Play, API is only for Android 2.3.3, it works well, but i'll have to make a specific version because i can't package it with a 2.2 package. (if anyone know a trick to handle the Analg pad directly...)

really happy about the updates and all.
but now it doesn't really work.
it doesn't load any games. when i load a game it gets me back to the home screen.

Desire HD using Android 2.3 with Sense Desire S port.
version 0.10.36 worked just fine.
i tried uninstalling and reinstalling and it didn't work.

Same here, any game results in a return to homescreen. I tested with and without fast overlay too with no change.

dannejanne wrote:Well now I am a happy FF player.

I rooted my HTC Z tonight and overclocked it from 800mhz to 1500mhz and now FF games runs much better. FF7 still has some minor slowdowns prior and after a battle but Much less than before and I have no temp slowdowns at all in the battles anumore. The constant slowdown that were in battles/menus in FF9 are totally gone now and it runs at 60 fps constantly. I can feel in every game that they run much faster and smoother now. Huge increase in smoothness! I don't even have to use frameskip for most games anymore.

Rooting and overclocking made my life much better! ;)

Quick question...when you fight in battle in FF7, are the sound effects a little "Off"? Like Tifa's Punch, Kick attack sounds like an 8 bit massacre?

Cloudd's attack strike AND critical attack...EVEN all of their limit breaks sound laughable, not giving a correct sense of damage :(
