It's definitely not related to HTC Desire nor Multitouch. For me(on my single touch device) it's related to Slide Mode. While enabled (even as Left Stick only) every key can get sticky. When I disable Slide Mode completely, there's no sticky key issue.

What DMA code will do?(I know what it does technically, but... will it nicely improve performance?)

Disabling slide mode did help a little...
When it was enabled, I always had L2/R2 stuck together, with it disabled it's more often that either L2 or R2 stick..
Although both can still stick - but more rarely....

Hope this has been of some help.

He's the guy nobody believed when he said android was close to being released.

I would still like to see an option in video menu to make the games landscape or portrait so that we can disable auto-rotate and save battery life.

That's great news, I encourage people with multitouch issues to try different kernels and roms since for every person with multitouch issues on a device there seems to be another using the same device with none.
