Exit Fullscreen Issues

Postby Ainsley » Tue Jul 06, 2010 1:55 pm

Hey Guys. I've been using the supporter version on my HD2 for about 2 months now, and this really is a great program. I'm currently using the latest supporter version and the HD2 optimized pack 5.1 skin.
My problem is obviously I play with the HD2 on its side, and usually pressing the FPS counter will exit fullscreen mode, however... with the latest update (19/06/10) it has become quite hard to actually press it. I keep pressing the FPS counter, however this can sometimes take up to 20 presses to work!
This has only started happening on the latest update. Is there anything I can do to fix this?
Thanks guys.

Recently, the area in which to press to exit full screen has been reduced. I'm sure it can be increased again by tweaking. I haven't because I prefer it this way, I don't exit full screen by accident anymore. But yeah it sometimes can be difficult. A tip is don't try press it. Instead roll your finger from the very corner of your device into the top right of the screen. This should get the exit button every time.

Ok thanks for the tip Phaedrus Nine. Does anybody by any chance know how to change this?

It involves editing an .ini. I'm reluctant to guess because I'm not sure. All you do is change the size of the area in pixels that you press to exit full-screen. I'll try and have a look, because I'm sure it's been mentioned before. Unless someone can post here on how to do it?

Hi,
I've found the solution to hit on all the case without changing anything.
When your screen is in landscape mode, put your finger on the top left corner outside of the screen on the more dark part. then switch your finger from left to right slowly until you hit the fps. For me it work all the time.
Bye.

Yeah, that's pretty much what I said earlier. Takes a bit of practice, but while I'm not sure how to change the exit area it's better than nothing.

Ok I just tried dragging my finger in from the corner (finally tried it), and yes you gusy are right. For anybody else having a similar problem, just press your finger off-screen near the corner with the FPS counter, and slowly drag in until it exits fullscreen.
Thanks guys.
