Postby CloudStrife86 » Sun Jun 05, 2011 12:31 pm

Same as the FpseCE Official Compatibility List in concept, but very slightly different in execution. This will include the game name, framerate, any noticeable audio/video bugs and the device used to test it.
I have a few, and jcsx PMed me a few to start with.

Hi All...I've been playing Nectaris: Military Madness and it works great on version 0.10.48. Runs at a constant 60fps on the Xperia Play. No graphical glitches whatsoever. Music has a slight intermittent slowdown in some of the cutscenes. This is a sequel to Military Madness on the Turbografx (Nectaris on the PC Engine in Japan).

update: When using fpse's save feature (not the memory card), loading the state will cause the map to be blacked out. It comes back after a fight scene though.

Final Fantasy VII - Disc 1 (NTSC-U) [SCUS-94163] HTC T-Mobile G2
60 fps. No graphical or audio glitches.

Final Fantasy Tactics (NTSC-U) [SCUS-94221] HTC T-Mobile G2
60 fps. No graphical or audio glitches.

Note: I haven't played through the entire game for either, but enough to get past any intro sequences and into actual game play for testing.

I had some time to sit down and try out some games, I've included stock speeds of my HTC Desire and the overclocked frame rates so you can see how well the game frame rate will scale with a higher clock speed. The majority of my games are on their proper discs, I haven't had a chance to make an image out of them yet. I probably should do that soon before I lose them. I'll update my post as I go. Testing was done with a PS3 DualShock3 controller over bluetooth for best results.

I also found that using "#FF8000" for orange was easier to read. ;)

Also want to mention that these disc images are not compressed with PocketISO and consist of either:
.MDF
.IMG/.CCD/.SUB
.BIN/.CUE
.ISO
File formats.

[D]
Dead or Alive (PAL-E) [SCES-01259] HTC Desire @ 1GHz. FPse version: 0.10.54.

[F]
Final Fantasy VIII (NTSC-U) [SLUS-00892/SLUS-00908/SLUS-00909/SLUS-00910] HTC Desire @ 1GHz. FPse version: 0.10.54.
Minimum 43 fps (during GF move) in-game. Maximum 60 fps in-game. Occasional FMV stutter. Fight transistion effect doesn't render. Minimum 49 fps (during GF move) in-game @ 1.152GHz. Plays/feels very close to a PS1 console.

[G]
G-Darius (NTSC-U) [SLUS-00690] HTC Desire @ 1GHz. FPse version: 0.10.54.
Minimum 33 fps in-game. Maximum 45 fps in-game. Minimum 60 fps in menus. Music VERY broken. Minimum 36 fps in-game @ 1.152GHz. Plays/feels very close to a PS1 console, apart from the broken music.

Minimum 57 fps in-game. Maximum 60 fps in-game. No background music. Minimum 60 fps in-game @ 1.152GHz. Plays/feels like a PS1 console, apart from broken music.
