Great news, mate.
Maybe a little speed can be spared for fullscreen in my opinion. However, the most important to me is to be able to play it in landscape to use qwerty, even at cost of playing in lower than 480x800. I've always found playing on touch screen without multitouch a bit painful but maybe it was because of my former HTC Touch Diamond

Well, the Omnia Pro is great, much more greater than my old HTC Touch Diamond in all aspects, but still, there is some place for improvements, but just a little things and all of them software issues. I guess snapdragon device is even better (talking about speed), but for now all introduced devices with snapdragon (apart from TG01, which doesn't have qwerty and more importantly it is not available in my country) are just really huge for me, they would not fit in my pocket so easily:) so I didn't have any alternatives.

i900frenchaddict has provided me a link to fpsece 0.9.6 therefore I am going to try it soon.

Any games you are specially interested in?

Snapdragon will be nothing beside this

Unfortunately without GPU accelerated version of FpseCE tegra will be slower than snapdragon when it comes to emulation. It will have similar performance to omnia1.
Remember that tegra is only ARM11 CPU

By the way, i900frenchaddict, I tried the 0.9.6 version. Finally I've been able to run it, with VGA or even with GAPI driver. So far I've tried only two games, as I have them on HDD - GTA & GTA2. I successfully started both of them, but only in portrait mode, not fullscreen, but it is not bad for start . In landscape mode (with or without WVGA3FIX), I hear the sounds, see the fps, but I get no video. I'm trying to play with settings, but no luck by now.

But I'm happy that I am able to run it in portrait successfully at least for now.

quake 3 at 35fps? i'm not impressed one bit.

Considering that it reaches 35+fps with AA and AF enabled at 800x480 resolution is impressive on mobile device.
