GFX Driver 1 issue

Postby Phaedrus Nine » Fri Apr 30, 2010 11:35 am

Hi all,

I have a problem with GFX Driver 1. Whenever I set it to 1 FpseCE loads up almightybobs skin for some reason, driver 2-4 work fine and load up Simon Mallions skin. But with 1, I have to reset the phone as the skin doesn't work correctly. I don't often use GFX Driver 1, so not a great issue. Just wondered if anyone else had the same problem?

that's simple, because GFX Driver only support 240x320 resolution (for VGA device, it's still QVGA, and is stretched to VGA by driver)
but, for W(Q)VGA device, display is (Q)VGA, while touch screen mapping is W(Q)VGA
so if you want to click 320 of the Y-axis, you should click 400 instead

Yeah I had assumed it was something that was supposed to happen. I just didn't know that's all. Basically I tried taking a screenshot, and it doesn't work with Direct X as the driver. So I set it to 1, and it messed up. No big deal as it worked with gfx driver 2. Just something I wasn't aware of, but thank you for enlightening me on that. I had figured this thread was dead and buried by now, naturally assuming I asked something stupid. :D
