How can I transfer a game save from ePSXe to Fpse ?

Postby Aussieguy » Sat Jan 18, 2020 11:29 am

I was playing this game for ages on epsxe and tried it recently on Fpse and looks better on Fpse so i would like to transfer the save over to Fpse if its possible.

Is it ? By the way, its not a Save State its a ingame save, thanks.

Not the quick save but the memory cards files

The one used natively by games

I did it and it didnt work. I decided just to go back to ePsxe haha. Fpse has been giving me alot of problems.

It doesnt save setting for any games always resets, so i got to try and remember them all the time and when i try and play Gallop racer, for some reason it keeps trying to load Crash bandicoot (because i played it one time) so now even though i am starting Gallop Racer up, the music for Crash bandiccot is in the background and its a black screen and shuts down the emulator.

This emu should offer a refund, even though it was only $3 its the fact it doesnt work properly.

Fpse has a powerfull settings system

You have global settings and games settings

When you run fpse for the first time you have just a unique global settings

If you go to main menu settings then change settings it will be applied to global settings

Now if you run a game for the first time this game I'll take the global settings and apply them to its own settings

Next time you ru' this game it I'll get its own settings file

So a setting changed when the game is running will be applied only to this game

After if you want to same a game settings to the global settings or opposite you have to powelfull option from advanced settings menu of fpse then system to do that

FPse exist since 10 years on the Google play store and it surely not by error.....

The bug you are reporting about save look like to be caused by ejection of disk, use change disk just when you have game with multiple cd like ff7

If you play a game the you open the menu and choose change disk then the game ca' continue but will be blocked after a time when it I'll need to load data from disk

And if you save after having cancelled à change disk then save will be done to a none license save file so net time 6ou load the game fpse Ont find this savebecause the license is available
