OUYA: Wont save game/memory card not formated

I have searched/played around for ages trying to find an answer to this so hopefully someone here can help.

I got this for the OUYA, initially i had no problems. I had all my roms/bios on a usb in the back of my ouya everything worked fine.

A couple of months later i go back on, i cant select save paths for my memory cards or save states. It just doesn't do anything. Every time i try to save in game it says memory card not formatted. There is nothing to select in the settings to create or format a memory card.

I have uninstalled/reinstalled numerous times and no such luck. I also have to assign the start button every time i go on as well.

Has anyone figured this out? I'm at a loss now.
