Accessing mnt/ext_sdcard

Hello all!

Quick question. How do I tell FPSE to look at my external SD card for Roms? The program doesn't let me go as far up as the root, so I don't seem to be able to access the /mnt/ folder itself.

A quick bit of research suggests I can access my roms from /mnt/sdcard-ext, but given my external card mounts to /mnt/ext_sdcard, the 'External Storage' option in the linked screenshot below just doesn't recognise anything. My internal links to to /mnt/sdcard, but I just can't go any higher than that.

Is there a preference that lets me set the External directory whilst allowing me root access?

For reference, I'm running Stock Android 4.2.2 on a rooted Nook HD.

Yep, can see them from RootBrowser! But FPSE doesn't even see the folders on the card, let alone any roms themselves.

Edit: Given it doesn't even see folders, I'd be inclined to think that /mnt/ext_sdcard is some sort of rarer-used mount location that FPSE isn't designed to acknowledge, compared to the more frequently used /mnt/sdcard-ext or /mnt/extsdcard?

Just a stab in the dark. I'm probably way out.

Hi there, thank you for the help!

Curiously, I tried reinstalling this morning and let it autoscan instead of trying to set everything up manually, and it has detected everything - file structure, .bins, the lot. Started running my MGS Backup, and everything seems to be running fine.

Thanks again, though - looking forward to the update.
