Xbox 360 controller D-pad

Hi! Firstly, I love the app.

However I have an issue with mapping the d-pad on my Xbox 360 controller. If I press UP on the d-pad to map the UP direction, it doesn't seem to register and still requires the analog stick to be used, which for some games isn't optimal.

Am I overlooking a setting to correct this? It worked okay in ePSXe so I know it's not likely to be a hardware issue.. anyway, thank you!
