sixaxis problem

When I disconnect my ps3 controller and reconnect it fpse detects the controller as the second controller.fpse Says "gamepad 2 detected" but it needs to stay the first player. I have it configured as a native controller in sixaxis. there anyway to control how fpse assigns and maps native controllers? Binding manually did not work at all.
