Postby xiaoshuzix » Wed May 08, 2013 7:50 am

I runned tekken3 on i9000,P990,i9250,Lt22i,most are dual-core cpu,but no one device run smoothly even i9250(OMAP4460),however other games is ok,why only tekken need such a high speed cpu?? Only cpus like APQ8064 can do it??

2) Tekken 3 is a mainly 3D games with many polygons, lightenings, shaddings, special effects, etc
So it really requires more power than other games

But I guess you're talking about openGL mode only? In Software and openGLES2 blitting Tekken 3 is supposed to run fine on dual cores....

As for OpenGL, the max I can reach on my Galaxy Note2 is 50fps without frameskip (I use a PAL version, so 50fps is perfect for me). I can achieve 54fps if I overclock my Note 2 to 1.8ghz.
-On my other quadcore device, the HTC OneX, I can reach around 42 Fps in openGL without frameskip. So I usually use frameskip.
-On my dual core device, the HTC Sensation, I definitly need frameskip in openGL, but the game remains smooth (I use "old frameskip" + frame limiter)

"boost HD games" just solved my problem. Thank you very much!!
The average FPS is about 45,much better!
