Hey,
I backed up my FPSE stuff a while ago and long story short I factory reset my device and lost root so I didn't use FPSE for a while. I've recently re-rooted my device but copying the .mcd to sdcard/.fpse/memcards and selecting that .mcd from the settings shows as no save file found in FFIX (the game that I'm playing). I know the saves are there as I tested the file on my PC using ePSXe using the same disc image and it found the save fine.

the better is to go to MISC menu and select choose memcard1

Yeah I did that but it turns out I kept going to the 'fpse' folder rather than the '.fpse' folder!
