fpse cheat file

I'm about at my wits end here. First when I tried to edit the cheat file in FFVII it said the file was too big and to edit externally. I found the .fpse folder, edited the file by adding a couple codes that weren't there, in the same format as the others, and it worked. Then in an effort to cut down on the size of the file I deleted codes that I really wouldn't need, so that the file wouldn't be "too large" and I could edit the cheat file internally through fpse. That's where the trouble comes in. Ever since I deleted some of the codes fpse doesn't register anything that I do. I'm putting the codes in just like they were before "#" for title, prior working codes, and yet nothing registers. It says 0 codes loaded no matter what I do. If anyone could steer me in the right direction I'd really appreciate it.

I am having the same exact problem I also don't know what version my game is so I must experiment and deleting the ones it downloads makes it impossible to find which ones actually work...hope someone fixes this !

I accidently overrode it somehow. I have no idea how it happened and not I can't get them loaded again. ff7.

are you sure your file is well into /sdcard/.fpse/cheats and is well called with the license of your game and with the extension .txt?
