SixAxis Right analog Stick unresponsive on Nexus 7

Hello
Does anyone have a fix for the above problem? I'm running the latest version of Fpse on a unrooted nexus 7 on Android 4.2.1. I have the pad connected via usb .
I've tried selecting a few diff options (analog/digital ext) but still no luck.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
