scph1001.bin and Nexus 7

I am new to this android stuff an probably becasde of that i dont know what to do with scph1001.bin file, i ve just downloaded and now i dont know what to do with it. I try to put it in a folder on the root of nexus 7 memory but i dont think i doing it right.
For me its a little bit dificult to accept that i pay for an APP in the official store and cant put it to work, or maybe im just spoiled from another stores.
