Need help with cheats

I have been all over the forum and google and I have not found a single helpful post. My question is how do I enter in cheats for the most recent verision of fpse?

when you open cheats menu in-game it automatically downloads a cheat txt file for that game into your sdcard>.fpse folder (hidden folder). You can edit this file and add new cheat codes I think!
