Merge 2 ".bin" files in a single one, how to?

Hi everybody,
i got a PS1 rom that comes with 2 ".bin" files, how can i play it by Fpse?
How can i merge the 2 files so that i can get a single ".bin" file?
Along side the 2 ".bin" files i have also the ".cue" files so there is a way to merge the ".bin" or ".cue" to make a single one?
I did some reserch, i read that ".bin" files are txt file so can be merged by a simple txt editor as notepad ehowever these files are impossible to open, i try by Notepad, and Notepad++, windows 7, the files are to big, notepad dont open them, display a message that say tha they are to big.
