Vibration with sixaxis + fpse? (dualshock 3).

There are so many combinations of settings between the two I'm sure I have something wrong. I cannot get vibrate to work on my ps3 controller no matter what I do. I try force feedback and nothing.
It vibrates when the six axis app picks it up but that's it. If anyone has gotten it to work, could you please let me know and possibly your input settings within the fpse app? I believe I have mine set to digital pad, and others for an external pad.
