Switch off USB Storage mode (?)

Postby ssj4maiko » Fri Sep 21, 2012 2:53 pm

It was a long time since I last played a game on my Xoom, when it had ICS, it was working fine.

Today I opened it and there was the error message from the title, so I couldn't select anything. when going into the config to change paths, the same problem happened.

The difference that I thought could be the problem is that now I have 4.1.1 (JellyBean), and I remember, at the update, that some folders changed, in this case, the SD is now Storage1, instead of External1.

I have root, the game is in the internal memory, and while I have already used an option with USB mount (using an app named Drive Mount, that only works with root), but never used it with fPSe. When trying to find a solution, I read some phones have this USB mount option, but I never found something like this in mine...

What exactly was the error?

Are your isos in internal memory or SD memory?

What ROM are you using?

well, the info was in the profile:
Primary Device: Motorola Xoom
Operating System: Android 4.1.1
ROM: Stock

Anyway. The isos are in the internal memory, but I can't even load any file browser.

And the error is this one:

Anyway, thanks, the reset settings worked. Haven't noticed that option, probably the last time I used I was in a folder that didn't exist anymore, since 4.1.1 renamed some of them.
Now I have to configure everything again... =/

After I got the fpse update and opened fpse I got this error also. It was several days ago but I don't mess with it until today.

What change was made? Where does fpse have is system files now?

The problem was in the OS. Because Jellybean changed the SD card folder to another one, every configuration was based on that. I don't remember what exactly I did, but one thing that should work for sure is for you to uninstall (Take out the data and configuration too) and reinstall, this should give you a clean config for you.

I am also getting a similar problem on ICS 4.0.4
Since the latest update FPse stopped remembering the location of my images and every time I select "LOAD GAME" I end up here. I uninstalled and reinstalled FPse and decided to enable easy mode for a change to see the icons and got this message. I switched between the USB modes, restarted the phone, uninstalled and reinstalled FPse again, tried reseting from MISC and both problems don't disappear.
