Multitouch problem?

Postby subject_delta » Wed Sep 19, 2012 9:13 pm

I'm running a JB ROM'd Desire @ 1.1GHz

Whenever I try and play a game, pressing more than one control at once pauses the game (or in Spyro's case, brings up the atlas). Is this a known problem?

Thanks

Using the Dev tools I can verify it works perfectly.
The only other thing I can think is that it is my 4.1.1 from.
Thanks

Do You have this issue in multiple games?

Can you try a different ROM on your phone?

I do; it pauses CB3 and opens the atlas in Spyro 3.

I'll make a backup of my current ROM and install a finished GB ROM and see if the same thing happens.

Okay, downgrading to 2.3.7 makes it work. I like JB though :(

FPSE world with JB. There must be some weird issue with the ROM you were using. What JB ROM were you using? What gingerbread ROM. Is there an ICS version of the JB ROM you were using?

Okay guys -
After reinstalling the JB rom and FPSe, everything (including onscreen analog) works fine!

Thanks for the help! :)

EDIT: The onscreen analog doesn't work. If I try to press anywhere on the screen, the analog stick will go there but no other controls will respond and I have to quit to be able to do anything! :S

What games are you using again? Spyro 3? These are games that are known to work with analog, correct? I tried some games in the past that just didn't work with analog controls, specifically the street fighter game I have. But other games worked with analog.

Hmm, I just did some tests. I can't get some games to work with analog (tekken 3, ff7). But ff9 works. For the games that didn't work, the buttons still worked though. And I could switch back to digital, no problem.

When I switch back to digital, the icon for the control pad continues to look like the analog pdf, but it functions like the digital pad.

What is your experience like?
