SAVE STATE Default Location (not memory card)

I've searched this forum and the net plenty but have not found a clear answer. It's likely just my searching skills.

My question: What is the default location of the SAVE STATES for FpSE?

I found them in

/sdcard/.fpse/sstates

This, along with the memory card locations, appear to be a common inquiry. Maybe someone should consider adding these to the guide or some other static location?

yes, an updated faq is needed - or the ingame help (acutally I haven't looked at the ingame helpfor about 15 versions).
