Currently I can get through the boot screen and the first credits screen of several games (Final Fantasy Tactics, Metal Slug X, Bushido Blade). Whenever the game first attempts to go through the first load, the game will just hang. This will happen using the OpenGL plugin or just the base GPU with a variety of the accessible settings changed.

Any reason why the various games would just hang at the first load screen?

Sounds weird. Did you try reinstalling FPSE? Are you using a bios?

I'll give a reinstall another try. I'm using the SCPH1001 bios.

I'm running FPse 0.11.28, android version 4.0.4

Reinstalled, same freezing issue.

wow, that's rough. stock rom and everything?? did you try changeing the system settings? force monocore (i don't know if your phone has dual core), and the interpreter option.

if you're using the bios, you should not have any hle pop-ups. that's something that I don't understand. you could try a different bios file... turn off the quick boot so you can see the bios screen. again, if you're using the bios, try disabling it (go to select bios, and just push the back button to get to the menu).

Hmm, I'll give it a shot tomorrow and update. I've tried forcing monocore and that didn't do anything either.

I'll try to find another bios. Maybe try a pal bios and get U version of the games.
