Open GL

Hiya
I currently use a samsung galaxy s3 and so far everything ive tried runs flawless (apart from the odd fps or 2) My main concern is the open GL. when i activate it in misc and download the appropriate files. It says i have to re-launch the application which i do, for it only to crash on start up every time. After seeing the new release with it stating it has now fixed this problem, i thought id take another stab at it to my surprise it still crashes on start up so ive had to re-install it as it works fine without the opengl plugin. Is there something im missing here or is the open gl software just not compatible with my phone? my android version is 4.0.4 phone model number is GT-I9300.
