....I haven't updated the program since the update the update came out some months ago warning that it would make your savegames unplayable. Is this still the case or will I be able continue my savegames if I update now?

if you update from a version before 0.11, so 0.10.xx you won't be able to loadstate. they aren't compatible.

you'll need to use memcard saves to pass from 0.10 to 0.11, then after you'll be able to re-use savestates for your saves.

Thanks very much. I am a little uncertain though....do you mean I simply need to make an ingame save point (ie in final fantasy 9 I merely save game with an ingame save moogle)....and then load that once I update the program I will be good to go?
