[SOLVED ]Used to work, now only displays CD Player, etc

I uninstalled and reinstalled again, and all of a sudden it works. Can't explain it, not sure why, but hey - I'm happy.

Hey there,

It's running on an HTC One X.
My friend initially just copied hit APK + Vagrant Story (been so long!) to my phone to see if it would run at all. Never can tell with new phones.
And it worked!

So I uninstalled the non-legit copy, went to the market, and purchased. Installed. Loaded up the BIOS. Tried to start up Vagrant Story... and... it defaults to the CD Player screen. What's going on? Halp?

Going back and installing my friend's 1.1.2 APK let's games run again, but now it gives me a failed license check warning. I assume this is because it's an old version?

It's also worth noting that the Menu soft button doesn't work on the version I got from the Market, but pressing Back calls up the menu. Whereas in the 1.1.2 APK the Menu soft button functions normally. Go figure?
