I have an issue. Any game that I play tends to have sound working just fun until I use the load state option of the emulator. Once I use that, the emulator no longer runs sound for the game that I am playing or other games as well. Is there a way around this?

I had the same problem as you and was wondering why there was no sound when I loaded a save state but the solution is very simple.

The reason for this is that you are loading the save state too fast. Wait for the game to load. Example when you start seeing an image of the game (i,e when you see the warning about gore in resident evil 3) and load your save state. You will then have sound.
