Hardware Settings Not Saving

I have the most up to date FPse emulator. I have a stock Xperia Play from Verison that I bought yesterday.

So, my issue: I loaded up FPse for the first time, imediately pulled up settings, set up the bios, saved to default, changed sound settings, saved to default again, then changed my hardware settings so that the on screen buttons aren't there anymore, and mapped out my keys to my phone's built in controller pad, and saved to default one last time. Then when I loaded the iso, it saved my bios and sound settings, but not my hardware button settings. And it does that every time I load up a game. The only thing it isn't saving is the button settings, and its getting rather annoying. I have to remap them upon each start up. I even tried setting them up, getting to the game's first save point, and creating a save state, all to see if "Saving" one way or another saves the settings. No such luck.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

i have an idea for this problem, in fact i map buttons automatically if Xperia play is detected, but i surely do it everytime instead of first time.

i have to check that.

I have no idea what your solution is. I've looked over the settings many times and every time a load a game it only has the touch screen contolrols. The actual button mapping I set up won't save.

Have similar problem. I bought cheap dualshock-like controller from internet ( http://allegro.pl/pc-game-pad-na-usb-do ... 94511.html this one - polish site). It works great instead that i need to remap keys every time i play game. I tried to save default settings, *.bin file saves correctly but settings such as frameskip, button mapping or visual controller are lost. Its very confusing, specially when i just want to switch to another game and have to remap whole pad (directional pad, action buttons, l1..r2 and start&select).

but, do you now that once you have configured PAD, you have to choose into system menu Save default config to make new config available for next loaded games.

I am having the same issue, I have tried to remap the buttons then saved it as the default config then loaded up a game and the buttons will not remap.
I am using the Sony Dual Shock 3 Controller.
I have emailed the developer and he has got back to me pretty quick so hopefully he'll let me know a fix soon! I'll post it here as soon as he lets me know
