Hi everyone. I am very new to emulators, and have no more computer or android knowledge above the average consumer. I have been reading about emulators for the past couple days and finally bought FPse and also downloaded Snes9x EX for my EVO last night. I am LOVING FPse!!! I got the bios and a few roms loaded up, but one of my fave psx games SIM THEME PARK is running a bit slow (specifically when the narrator/helper fellow comes up). I have no clue how to fix this. I have checked and unchecked (along with restart after each change while in game) Mdec Acc, Gte Acc, HLE mode, and Boost mode, even though I have no idea what these do. None of them have made a difference. My EVO is stock running 2.3.3. Suggestions? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Oddworld and FFT have not had this issue.

First try restarting. That helps sometimez when my games start slowing down. 2nd try using boost. 3rd try frameskip settings as well. Those may improve your performance.

if you have a bios set then u dont need HLE mode, because HLE mode is Bios emulation = slower.
Boost mode is as described to be used with caution,Mdec Acc and GTE Acc on should be ok.
