FPSE and HTC Desire Z = keyboard?

Postby costi » Fri Jul 22, 2011 4:13 pm

Can the hardware keyboard of HTC Desire Z be used with FPSe?
Also, I assume there is no demo version to check how the emulator will run on my phone?

Yes. My droid 2 ran fpse perfectly and I used the keypads for controls. And sorry but no demo. Though I haven't heard of. It not working on any phone.

Yes, the keyboard works perfectly. I avoid using it for anything other than platform games. Use the on screen pad for games with simple controls to prolong the keyboard buttons.

FPSE and HTC Desire Z (G2) = keyboard?

I basically have the same phone (G2) and the keyboard works fine as input, I like using it for RPGs where you want to see the screen but doesn't demand quarter-circles. But i'm too afraid of damaging my device with button pushes, perhaps you're more careless...

But the button input works great...

Why would it get damaged from being used?
Besides, the phone is brand new, I have two years warranty, so if anything happens I'll just have it serviced ;)
