FPSE & CDDA compatibility

Postby Dragoth » Sun Jun 19, 2011 2:27 pm

Hey everybody!

First of all: Thanks for this awesome emulator! Each time i start up FPSE i smile with joy as i start my favorite psx games! :)

But to my one and only problem:
I can't find any specific information about CDDA compatibility with games or how to activate it in FPSE.
I'm trying to get two specific games to work with their cdda music: Wipeout 2097/Wipeout 3 and Grand Theft Auto. Both games have an awesome soundtrack which just wont play.
I tested my ripped IMG's with epsxe and they definitely work (including CDDA). Sound FX play perfectly... only music is missing.

Am i just missing a specific settings in FPSE or is CDDA compatibility still in developement and not yet implemennted?
Hopefully i'm not asking a question which has been asked before, but i couldn't find any other information to this topic. The only thing i found was this thread with a similar question:

viewtopic.php?f=39&t=2103

Can anyone share some information on this?

cheers, a happy fpse user with a Desire Z
