You must make sure to follow directions for connecting the iCP to what program or driver you're using... each one will have it's own directions, as there are many different bluetooth profiles that can be used, each one needing you to turn on in different ways. You should be able to find all the help you need at the iCP forums, or from the developer of the different apps, emulators, or drivers.
The iCP has so many options and profiles to connect with, different apps or drivers use different methods. All the options available can make the gamepad a little more complicated at first for someone, but having all these options makes the iCP so versatile and usable with so many devices and functions, and will be usable with future devices, too.
Once you figure out what driver you want to use and learn to connect to that, you'll learn quickly. I'd much rather have a device with so many options and profiles to connect with that will be usable on so many devices in many different ways than a device that only has one way to connect and can only be used on certain devices and only has one function.... even if it takes a little more research and reading and tweaking your setup.
The abilities of this gamepad are already way more advanced than anything else like it, and development has just been started a couple months ago. The fuctions and abilitys and options are going to be constantly growing, especially with all the devs that are on board already, with more devs getting interested all the time as more people becoming aware that this great device even exists. It's still not very well known by people yet, but it will catch on. Just wait... we'll see some great things in the near future.
It's a small company, so it's starting out slow, but already there is some great development being done for it, with some cool apps made just for the gamepad coming soon.

Just ordered a phonejoy. I can't wait!

I have a zeemote js1, but it is too small and my hand cramps. Zeemote only has 4 buttons also.

I have been playing all the emulators with my new Phonejoy! It has more buttons than any other controller, so it's perfect for PSX, N64 games. Using the newest BlueZ IME 1.6 driver.

for those with the Datel Wii retro classic how did you get it working with FPSE? I purchased FPSE thinking it would work with the Wiimote after reading others using it on the forums but dont see the controller listed in the drop down menu. I use Wiimote controller on other emulators but cant get it working in FPSE which IMO needs it the most. can anyone help please?
