Hi everybody.
I'm currently using FPse on my ZTE Blade with the Datel Wii Retro Wireless Controller. If you ignore the fact that the controller is separate from the phone, you've got a 150$ Xperia Play right there
This controller works exactly like the Classic Controller, except it can connect itself directly to your phone by Bluetooth (so you don't need a Wii Remote). It works flawlessly with the Wiimote controller app.
So far I've only used it for consoles with digital input, now with the PSX it would be nice to use the analog sticks (properly).
I can use them for digital input, but that's obviously not the idea.
Now the Wiimote controller app supports analog input in a peculiar way: "In analog mode, the sticks trigger continuously. The triggers are as frequent as the stick is bent. The analog mode creates a lot of events and may create a lag." While this might work for Gran Turismo (didn't try yet), it certainly doesn't help Snake sneak around quietly.
Now FPse let's you choose your pad type in input settings, but I don't understand how this option works. How can FPse get the analog data from the pads? Can anyone help me out here?
