Hello! First of all, congratulations for this good emulator.

I'm from Brazil and bought your emulator since it's release, years ago, and have been seen a great improvement since then. BUT I have to say: my Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (stock 4.4.2) with Snapdragon 800 hasn't been having a good performance with your emulator. I've been using many combination of settings, both with 4x Resolution HD and OpenGL, and the performance isn't good enough (especially in 4x HD, which is strange, I expected it to be faster than OpenGL).

In FF VIII, when I call some Guardian Force (GF), like Ifrit or Sheva, for example, and they use their ability, the fps drops and the sound slows even more. The rest of the game seems to run normally. Looks like a sound-related problem, but I don't know. I've seen people complaining about the Note 3's performance with your emulator, telling that their cellphones had worse performance than other weaker ones, so I don't understand the reason of this problem.

Anyway, I hope that this problem can be resolved. I'm looking forward to it, since other emulators don't have these sound or performance issues. Nevertheless, your emulator is becoming better and better!

the new version should have much less stuttering problem as you'll see, i found a two problem, CDrom reading emulation calculation was wrong, a lot of... and Frame limiter had a very big bug which caused slowdown every sec...

i fixed Hotwheels- racing turbo for the software mode.

WOW! Thank you so much! Can't wait for the Store release!!
I'm using a CROM based on Jelly Bean in my Xplay, performance using OGL was severely affected. I'm looking forward to get a new cellphone, and bring Gingerbread back in my XPlay. Also, I hope that you can make the Remote controller function easier to use. It works "ok", but having to turn it on each time you change the game it's annoying.

THANKS! From México

Ok guys, the New Version of FPse has been pushed to Google Play!!!

FPse 0.11.142:
- Fixed and improved Onscreen Analog PAD
- Fixed and improved pad reposition, now you can resize each button by pinch and zoom
- Fixed Audio/Video stuttering in software mode
- Fixed CDROM reading emulation speed, Musics are much better now
- Fixed Hotwheels - Turbo Racing for software mode (for Opengl set Busy fix from video menu)
- Added quick back to game shortcut button (Press MENU button)
- Many other small fixes

The best version for sure! controls are very responsive and very accurate, sound is very good and animation is very smooth!!

Ok I've tested the new build, but sadly it made my performance even worse :( .

Some considerations in FF VIII (using Framelimiter - not the old one - and Software HD 4x Resolution, which, imo, is better than OpenGL):

- With Frameskip turned ON, the speed seems very good, but I get bad glitches, with flashing screen, missing images and text, huge stuttering, etc. This doesn't happens with Oldframeskip, but the performance isn't good with it.

- Now both audio and fps are worse than the previous build. Resolution 2x is smooth for me, maybe better than before (oddly).

- Even if I use Oldframelimiter and Oldframeskip ON, the performance isn't good enough (should I use them or Framelimiter and Frameskip ON?)

- It doesn't matter if I use Dittering or not, the issues persists.

- And last, I reduced the Audio Latency to 4000, then 1400, then 800, but this doesn't seem to improve performance for me.

Well, looks like I can't play 4x Resolution with a powerful Galaxy Note 3 and maybe no one with this cell phone can. I didn't test OpenGL with the new build yet.

Mine is the 3G Version - 3gb ram, etc. Probably like yours. 9005. The FPse version was 0.11.141. Wasn't perfect but was better in my device. But now...I reinstalled, changed settings, and yet FF VIII is super slow when I call a GF (Ifrit and the thunder one) :?.
