Ok just pushed a quick fix, found a mistake with mono core devices....

Please let me know if you see any differences with previous one for everyone with devices with more than 1 core. on my side i see no regression, but i prefer to check.

Does this mean that the Snapdragon 800 CPUs (or maybe event the newly announced snapdragon 801) are running great now. I assume this is only software mode and not OpenGL right ?

Nice job schtruck this is the best PSX emulator for Android.

Btw, the software HD (at 2x) is suposed to be much slower than OpenGL on a dual A9 @ 1.32Ghz? because it's performing really bad on my tablet (Amlogic MXS dual A9 at 1.32ghz with a MaliMP2)

@schtruck: while waiting for amazon appstore update, i tinkered some setting in opengl with the emulator epsxe (yes it has setting). I found the special game fix 'mix software fb(frame buffer?) access'. With it turns on, there's no slow down in battle transition of ffvii. I wonder if you can include this game fix in the next update. Ffvii in opengl works far better than hd software (i got full speed btw)

Does fpse support games that only use PSX.EXE instead SYSTEM.CNF + SCUS,SCES,SLUS,SCED files, beyond 0.11.93 i'm no longer able to play any of my games, autoscan doesn't find any valid files anymore on my Nexus 7 2013 flo / razor, manually selecting a games folder doesn't work either.

Crashing

I have been having issues with fpse crashing constantly when playing final fantasy VII Disc 1 lately. I am using the latest Play Store version. This is on an LG G2 with Snapdragon 800/Adreno 330 on Android 4.2.2.

The game crashes constantly in all software, software HD, and openGL. The software ones work full speed until it crashes in 2-3 minutes. Everything works fine until the app suddenly closes, no error windows or "app not responding" messages. It does not happen at a specific point in game, it is random. Sometimes I can play a good 5-10 minutes, other times it crashes in 30 seconds. I am not playing from a save state, I am loading the game and my latest in-game save.

Any suggestions?

I just restarted my phone and it still happened, it had ~950 mb free before I started fpse. I have a log I will send you, I think it shows it happening 1 or 2 times.

edit: just emailed it to schtruck@numericable.fr
