I noticed that sound emulation changed in 0.11.46 compared to .45 it became worse. For example in xenogears some instruments in music dont play well.

Yep i set it. But it still sounds different from .45. Maybe its related to fps jumps that i have in new version, its from 59 to 63,previous version had always 59-60.

If someone can post a message on Android Market to WARN people to update to 0.11.48, somes won't be able to start 0.11.46 and even 0.11.47.

IF people notice slowdown in FPse on OpenGL, let me know , i'll send you a test plugin.

hey schtruck,

I've been using fpse for some time now and love every update,
it definitly shows that you put a lot of time and effort in the application.

In order to get maximum juice out of the application, finetuning the settings for each game is essential,
but because of the lack of documentation I can't really decide if some settings are beneficial.

Is it possible to get eleborate information on each of these settings?

System:
- Boost mode
- Autosave: Option to autosave a game when quitting and autoload when reloading it. (It's recommended to tune the audio/video settings before setting this option to avoid savestate problems)
- Dynamic interpreter: Some games require the interpreter to run, only use when needed.
- Fast boot: Bypass the PSX bios animation

Audio:
- Null sound plugin: Disable sound emulation to get boost.
- Spusync: Sync audio with the game, recommended for many games. This results in better sound emulation but uses more CPU.
- Enhance sound emulation: When Spusync is turned on, this option increases the number of emulated sound effects
- Mute: Forces game volume to 0

Video:
- Framelimiter:
- Frameskip:
- Print FPS: Prints the number of frames per second on the top left corner.
- Special screen size: Sets the screen size choosen in the MISC menu.
- Screenfiltering:
- Brightness boost
- Force Landscape Orientation: Locks application orientation to landscape mode.
- Invertcolors: Fix for some games that have inverted colors, use to double invert to normal colors.
- Enhanced 3D rendering
- Hardware acceleration
- Boost high res games

Thanks for the hard work and I'm looking forward to more updates in the future.

just having a look through .48 now, first glimpse seems nice
to me it seems like im now getting slightly higher FPS in OpenGL mode (FF9 at least)
had to enable enhanced sound emulation to get the same kind of sound quality as in previous builds but not a problem at all

only 1 minor problem which doesnt affect anything at all (please don't see it as nitpicking)
once a game is loaded > press back to bring up menu > CHANGE DISK <--- should be spelt DISC in UK
again this isnt complaining, im fairly sure it is spelt disk in other countries so if its intentionally spelt like that then ignore me

Great work schtruck, this update is fantastic! thank you

It really fixes problems with frameskip and framelimiter enabled, tested in 3 games. Now tekken 3 and FF9 are very smooth!
Automatic cheat codes finding is an excellent idea.

However the bug of force landscape that does't stick at every restart is always here from 11.41.
