Hi schtruck

What I notieced : is much slower !

Tekken III (on SGS with 2.2.1 )

Fpse 0.10.24 42 fps
Fpse 0.10.25 37 fps

Now is slower about 10 % - 15 %.

Ok I noticed something yet.

For example I'm playing Tekken III and :

fulscreen (screen is too wide ) mode I have 52 - 53 fps but....
4/3 centered ( screen is properly ) I have 37 fps.

Can I ask why ?

you're right guys, i forgot to make a precision,

The actual Overlay boost is only available in Fullscreen mode

For the centered i have to mind on it a bit more.. a bit more complex

Ha !
I've had right.
That's why I wonder why I haven't had any boost.
It was simple I was using 4/3 centered ( only this mode have proper screen)
OK. In that case I waiting when you fix it.

Thanks schtruck

DrownedOne wrote:Schtruck, any way to add a framelimiter when frameskip 50 is on? Anytime there's a CG cutscene, the frame counter jumps to 200+ and back to normal levels in game. Thank you for all the updates, they've been great.

I've been using framelimiter with frameskip at 50, and I don't know why it says not to do so. Haven't had any unusual problems with it.

I have also been using framelimiter with frameskip set to 50 and not run into any issues so far.

As of the last update the frameskip issue is back though. Games won't load with it on the emu closes without any message. You can enable it after you have started up a game but it won't take long before it closes again when you have frameskip on. He fixed this issue in an update when it appeared the other day so I assume it will be fixed again for the next update as the issue is back again. I can't play many games and make them run well without this feature as the sound gets very choppy. FF games works well without it though and enabling it for FF games makes them buggy anyway.

Without framelimiter turned on, CG cutscenes are in fast forward mode with frameskip up to 50. If you turn on FS 50 WITH framelimiter, the gameplay becomes rough and choppy.
