Ok after some hours of tunning i'm preparing a new Beta version with such changes:

- tunned Multi threading on Arm and X86 processors to get the best result (faster)
- improved highly timing, it's now for another time smoother , animation as well as sound!
- Fixed game emulation for Motor Toon Grand Prix and Lego Racer, and surely more.

i will push this beta version tomorow.

Soft gpu rendering modes are buggy. I'll go load up a game, pull up the menu, go to settings, change the video options (like disabling screen filtering or enabling enhanced rendering), shaders or whatever from the advanced menu, then when I try to return to gameplay, the app will crash. This happens in all of the software modes.

I just pushed a new beta version with somes interresting fixes and optimization.

FPse 0.11.178:
- Fixed CPU emulation, Lego Racer and Motor Toon Grand Prix works very well now, and surely more games
- Improved multi threading highly to get faster and smoother emulation
- Optimized OpenGL plugin speed
- Improved OpenGL HD GLboost and Texture High Resolution options to be dynamicly applied after change

FPse is another time faster and smoother than never before

Optimization applied on opengl High definition are really great and changing in live options like Texture Hd and GLboost let you evaluate quickly what is the best option to which game

For example if you have an Exynos processor settings GLboost to disable is recommend for game like Driver, but if you play to Tekken3 it’s recommended to set GLboost to high.

The fix on game Motor Toon Racing and Lego Racer is awaited for longtime now

It surely fix some other problems

thanks for your feedback.

this Problem exist on all GPU except PowerVR, a trick could help. i should add support for it soon.

For now somes news about current beta version which has progressed very well:

FPse 0.11.178 changes:

- Fixed CPU emulation, Lego Racer and Motor Toon Grand Prix works very well now, and surely more games
- Fixed Timer bug on ARM, B.A.D music intro is working great, NFS III too and surely more
- Improved multi threading highly to get faster and smoother emulation
- Optimized OpenGL plugin speed
- Improved OpenGL HD GLboost and Texture High Resolution options to be dynamicly applied after change

the good news is this fix on Timer emulation for ARM which make the famous B.A.D music intro working like a charm like many other games which works very smooth , IE: NFS III hot pursuit is now very good.

Stay tunned, this version will be pushed to market tomorow.

A last Beta because i worked on a FIx for somes X86 devices like Nexus Player

the excellent news is that has let me time to speedup emulation another time and it's a huge speedup!

On my 5 years old Xperia Play, i can now play without frameskipping Crash Bandicoot 3 in OpenGL High definition!!

On Nexus Player, OpenGL High defintion is not full speed, i played Crash Bandicoot 2 with somes options set to improve GFX and no slowdown, all perfect..

in the meantime i fixed 1 dozen of reported bugs...

FPse 0.11.178 Beta:
- Fixed CPU emulation, Lego Racer and Motor Toon Grand Prix works well now, and much more games
- Fixed timer bug on ARM cpu, B.A.D music intro is working great, NFS III too and much more
- Fixed frameskip
- Fixed savestate crash on Android 3.x and less
- Fixed crash on Nexus Player and X86
- Improved multi threading highly to get faster and smoother emulation
- Optimized OpenGL plugin speed
- Improved OpenGL HD GLboost and Texture HD options to be dynamicly applied
- Much more!!

Even low end device will be happy.
i'm able to play in openGL high definition on a 5 years old device like the Xperia Play in High definition to Crash Bandicoot 3!!Even myself, i never thought we could reach such results.
X86 devices like Zefone 2 or Nexus Player (Android TV) run FPse as never, no more cpu trottling, and now you can play to OpenGL high definition at full speed, using all options to improve gfx to ON

Go ! and Enjoy this new version of FPse for Android!

So far so good. Buttery smooth for me. Just one small complaint. I'm running opengl hd and now I'm getting random graphical glitches in the backgrounds. I hate to even mention it as it seems like nitpicking. Most people wouldn't even notice.

There's a dark gray rectangle by the trees to the left of Paul and a light gray one in the grass to the right of Yoshimitsu. Not all stages have these objects.

Well, overall emulation is good but tracks in racing games still have loading at the same places causing slowdowns on a first lap. :(
