[SKINS] Cim's VGA & QVGA Glossy Black skin
As there were no new VGA skin I started adopting amirdt's WVGA skin, and eventually ended up doing my own graphics. To install extract archive to your skins directory (e.g. \SD Card\Program Files\FpseCE\SKINS). You also have to setup multikeys as this (if you wish to use fake multitouch portrait pad): - 1 - up+square
- 2 - right+square
- 3 - down+square
- 4 - left+square
- 5 - up+cross
- 6 - right+cross
- 7 - down+cross
- 8 - left+cross
Currently, there is only 8 multikeys supported so if you need diferent combinations you should switch buttons in skin and map different combinations... Credits: amirdt - layout idea, menu10 control icons LeSScro - menu2 portrait pad graphics, input mode icons Dredd67 - menu2 fake multitouch conceptAlmightyBob - original skin graphics EDIT: - 02.03. V1.0 is finished (finally)
V1.01 fixed missing volume bar in menu1 and replaced some menu7 graphics (sorry I missed it before making archive) V1.01 QVGA version - 28.03. V1.02 changed some graphics in menu1, cleaned ini files and aded qvga ini files (thanks Tatsumaki Senpūkyaku for pointing that out)
I apologise to all qvga users who downloaded this skin as I forgot to include ini files in previous version. In the future, please let me know if there's something wrong.
Please leave some feedback. All suggestions and critics are welcome. Images:

No, your skin looks nice, it's just different style than mine Yes lots of work, especially as I often get feeling that I could done it better, and then (offcourse) redo it, so that's why I'm still on menu1... Well, back to work...

Re: VGA Glossy Black skin WIP
Yeah buddy!! That more along the lines of what i was going to do as far as the button's, but i would change the grey of the text and such to white so you can see them a lot better. (IE-not the grey of the button's but just the text and things like the '_' '+' '-' '->' '<-' and such) And i would also replace the memory card images with just "MEMSAVE" and "MEMLOAD" or something and have a memory stick image still with a slight transparent effect so you can still see it but not in the way. And maybe lessen the gloss layer JUST a little less so there's less contrast between that and the images inside the button, will make it easier at a glance. But otherwise, this is going to be a proper looking one now, keep up the great work. Very nice!! Hope those idea's help. I am definitely still willing to help out, i just need to finish a few things i am currently doing with button's on 'BACK ROW' XBMC theme. You doing just fine so far though, but i don't mind at all to help either way.

Re: VGA Glossy Black skin WIP
Djdafreund thank you very much for your sugestions I really apreciate it.
I tried some of the things you suggested. I think this might be little bit to bright. Maybe something between first one and this?
EDIT: removed images

Re: VGA Glossy Black skin WIP
It looks nice actually. What would help i think is currently, you have an outline around the text, along with a darker inner shadow on the text, along with a light dropshadown. I would personally recommend to just remove all of effects on the text and symbols and characters, etc, and have it JUST the black outline and a small black backdrop only and see how it looks to you, i think that should give a better look to what isn't quite looking right to you now. It should give it that proper look your looking for. It's honestly starting to look pretty good though i think.

Re: VGA Glossy Black skin WIP
Actually it's pillow emboss effect. I wanted labels to look as they were melted in plastic. If I put just shadow they look as they were floating on top of buttons which I don't like. However I, lowered emboss opacity and added 1px stroke and shrinked font a bit. I think it looks a little better that way. I have put the picture in the upper post for comparision...

Re: VGA Glossy Black skin WIP
The only thing I'd suggest to you would be to use a different font than Comic Sans. It is used in everything and really isn't a great font. Some good alternatives are:
MASTERPLAN HARABARA BANK GOTHIC ABODE BIRTH OF A HERO DEFUSED NEUROPOL GEARS OF PEACE
Most of them can be found at dafont.com
Oh, and by the way, I'm uploading my images for you to edit like you asked.
