Sorry revive a very old thread but has there been any fix to the problem with FF6 and not being able to use the in game saves?

Still looking for help for this issue. I have tried many different roms for this game, all are ntsc versions. Whenever i try to load a file in game it always fails. The save state function works but honestly i would rather use the in game function. Just for testing purposes i wanted to see if this was an issue with the game or the program so i ran the game on epsxe, the game was able to load from the in game save function no problem. Please advise what i can do to get the in game save function to work.

So I don't know if this helps or not but I moved the memory card file over to epxse and tried to load the game, it would not in that either.

I find it very strange that I can save a game but I can not load the game. This seems like a bug big time to me

please please please come up for a fix for this.
